I just can't do it...

Here I am again... after too long of a break again. Perhaps it is the part where I have worked 6 days out of the last seven with the average workday lasting nearly 14 hours. That and since I got back I just have not stopped moving around. Salem, Milton-Freewater, Lostine, Milton-Freewater, Salem, Milton-Freewater... Then work, where I move at less than 4 miles an hour for about 11 hours a day on a combine :) But it is nice to slow down and think and get paid to do it. You won't find this guy complaining about work.

I write today because I have been putting off catching you all up on the closing days of my life outside of Oregon. I hate to say it, but it is getting put off again. Partly because of time, I just don't have any right now, soon I will have shorter workdays and will be able to catch up. But the bigger part is that I just can't. It's too hard for me to think back on, there is too much. Too much of my heart is packed in that box of memories and I just don't have it in me to think about/summarize/relive those days that are too quickly becoming a far-gone memory. But I'll get there sometime this summer and so you will, in the words of Paul Harvey, soon be hearing "the rest of the story."

So enjoy your summer, I will be enjoying mine, making money, thinking through life and what is still such a hodge-podge of stiff in my mind and looking ahead to whatever life will hold in the coming days.

Gee I'm sorry....

Another quick note so you don't get angry/worried/whatever since I have not posted any updates. Seeing as I have now been home for 2 weeks one would think that life has slowed down. Lies, all lies, I am as busy as ever. So just so you know, an update/wrap-up will come this next week sometime, I am not dead and I have not forgotten. So I will "talk" to you all soon.

Thanks for your patience in this matter,

The Management
